Wang Jia Sha is a restaurant in Festival Walk shopping centre in Kowloon Tong. It was our first time there, and they specialise in Shanghai style dimsum (上海點心). As usual, we left the ordering to the very capable hand of the hosts (as I would’ve got lost looking at all the delicious looking morsels in their pictorial trilingual (they had Japanese too!) menu).

We ate at their private room – & what a room that was! Green walls, dark wood trimmings – with Mahjong tiles strategically placed on the walls & even around lighting in the ceiling! Everything was delicious (from pan-baked & steamed bau with very juicy hot exploding meat filling, sesame encrusted pancake, Shanghai dumplings soup, turnip puff pastry, chinese cabbage in cream sauce & so on
